Indistinct Particulars

Now on view at Corridor Gallery: my new paintings showing alongside Jeff Gracz's photography

Artist reception: November 20 from 6 - 8pm
M-F from 8 - 5pm or by appointment

The paintings in this collection explore the relationship between emotion and structure through layered abstraction and shifting color fields. Working primarily with acrylics, I build each composition through intuitive and textured layers. Color plays a central role in my process, used not only for harmony but also for emotional contrast, movement, and energy. Influenced by diverse visual traditions and the rhythms of nature, each work evolves stroke by stroke, forming a living system. Every gesture contributes to a greater whole; movement, tension, and quiet resolution, where connection is not imposed but emerges organically through shared space and interaction. Though abstract, these paintings suggest life in motion through clusters, pathways, and rhythmic fields.

Inspired by organic growth and the balance between geometric order and disorder, this body of work fuses the language of nature with design. Floral energy unfolds into networks, patterns, and chromatic pathways, a celebration of motion, transformation, and the hidden architecture of life. Rather than offering answers, the work leaves space for contemplation, inviting meaning to be felt rather than defined.
